Victory Beats music therapy on Superhumans Reunion 2025

On May 31, the Superhumans Center brought together more than 3,000 people for its annual Reunion. The event featured a wide range of locations and activities—everything from entertainment to lectures, from sports and creative workshops to employment assistance. Celebrities, official delegations, and well-known business figures attended, but the event was opened by a performance from the Victory Beats band, made up of patients from the center's music therapy program.

A couple of months before the event, we received an offer we simply couldn't refuse. We eagerly got to work, rewrote our repertoire multiple times, and ultimately put together a short show that instantly lit up hearts and energized all the guests for the day.

Two drummers, two bass guitars, and two electric guitars—an unusual lineup, but this isn’t an ordinary band. The presence of other music therapy participants was invaluable in preparing for the performance. Some came just to listen, while others joined in the playing—each rehearsal turned into a mini concert, sparking new ideas.

But the day didn’t end with just one performance. The music therapy location was packed with people all day long. One of the highlights was meeting and reconnecting with former participants who had attended our music therapy sessions before and eagerly joined our non-stop jam once again.

By evening, music stars started arriving, and our very own Sasha Ivanko kicked off the main concert stage with his DJ set. That magical moment arrived when everyone was dancing and singing—on the dance floor, the security team, people at different locations, even the musicians preparing for their own performances.

And what came next? The entire Superhumans Center spent days humming "Naidya Ye" (there is a hope), the music therapy program continued attracting new people and exploring new approaches, and our incredible band started gearing up for new performances coming very soon. Stay tuned for updates!

About Roman

We met through the EnterDJ.com program, where I mentor in recreational DJing.
Roman brings more than just music — he brings resilience, depth, and clarity of intention.

A year ago, Roman was severely wounded at the frontline and lost both legs. After entering rehab at the Superhumans Center, he discovered our art therapy project Victory Beats. Despite everything, Roman decided to return to music — something he dabbled in back in the 2000s. Now he’s learning the craft anew, exploring modern tools and shaping his sound with precision and care.

This debut mix is the result of many drafts, revisions, and late-night sessions.

Victory Beats Music Therapy is 1 year old!

The Victory Beats project celebrates another milestone. Our music therapy direction turned 1 year old! On May 18, 2024, at the Superhumans Center, we held our first relaxation session for Sasha, an 11-year-old boy who lost his leg as a result of being hit by a Russian missile. This session was also remembered for the fact that after it, Sasha became interested in music and tried to create compositions on his own using an application on a tablet.

Over these 12 months, music therapy has helped dozens of people - at Superhumans, at Habilitation center HAB, at special sessions for people who survived captivity. We helped organize retreats for veterans' families and began international cooperation with scientists and cultural institutions and projects. We launched our own approach to DJingas therapy and have now separated it into a separate project, EnterDJ. Even more events in the very near future.

Infinite gratitude to all who supported us, who joined and helped and, of course, a special gratitude to all visitors to our therapy. You inspire with your feedback about the improvement of the condition, you help to improve the approaches with your ideas and comments, you motivate others to join with your incendiary play and unbridled positivity.

Music heals the body and mind, music opens the door to our own subconscious and makes us a better version of ourselves. Music saves lives!

Special fundraising from Shantiago for Victory Beats

Victory Beats’ great friend — Shantiago is launching a special fundraiser “The Rhythm of Peace” to support our therapeutic DJ courses. And you can be a part of this life-enhancing project!

Together, we plan to purchase a new DJ console that will be used for rehabilitation practice for veterans and civilians affected by war, to support their psycho-emotional recovery.

As part of the music therapy program, Victory Beats presents its unique technique of DJing as therapy. Many of our congregations have already discovered this fascinating art, and the number of veterans who want to join is growing.

Music is healing, and your support is valuable!
