We made a small surprise for our patient Felix. And he made a surprise for us. Felix always dreamed of learning to play the drums. Even before the war, he had a good ear for music and could play a little on different instruments. Unfortunately, the war changed a lot - Felix lost his leg and his hearing deteriorated. But he did not lose his thirst for music.
So on June 25, a professional drummer and teacher, Kyrylo, came to us to share his knowledge and skills. The guys immediately got along and Felix began to open up right before our eyes. From the first attempt to pick up the sticks to playing a whole series of pictures, only a few minutes passed! And to make the process even more fun, professional guitarist Yaroslava and our other patients arranged a whole concert of famous and original songs, where Felix joined in with drum parts.
The atmosphere was incredible, no one wanted to stop, and Felix only fueled everyone with energy, drive, and great love for music.
An evening of strength, inspiration, support — and the fact that dreams really do come true.
