Meeting with Thomas Weber

On May 19, our Victory Beats music therapy at the Superhumans center was visited by the famous psychotherapist, developer of the Traumafocus method and founder of the Institute of Neuropsychotherapy in Vienna - Thomas Weber

The meeting began with a warm and heartfelt conversation about our therapeutic activities, and continued with an incendiary and melodic improvisation, which was simply impossible not to join in

We are sincerely grateful to Thomas for the visit and the time spent together, and we look forward to new meetings

Victory Beats Music Therapy is 1 year old!

The Victory Beats project celebrates another milestone. Our music therapy direction turned 1 year old! On May 18, 2024, at the Superhumans Center, we held our first relaxation session for Sasha, an 11-year-old boy who lost his leg as a result of being hit by a Russian missile. This session was also remembered for the fact that after it, Sasha became interested in music and tried to create compositions on his own using an application on a tablet.

Over these 12 months, music therapy has helped dozens of people - at Superhumans, at Habilitation center HAB, at special sessions for people who survived captivity. We helped organize retreats for veterans' families and began international cooperation with scientists and cultural institutions and projects. We launched our own approach to DJingas therapy and have now separated it into a separate project, EnterDJ. Even more events in the very near future.

Infinite gratitude to all who supported us, who joined and helped and, of course, a special gratitude to all visitors to our therapy. You inspire with your feedback about the improvement of the condition, you help to improve the approaches with your ideas and comments, you motivate others to join with your incendiary play and unbridled positivity.

Music heals the body and mind, music opens the door to our own subconscious and makes us a better version of ourselves. Music saves lives!

Third meeting with Nigel Osborne

On May 13, the Victory Beats music therapy was once again visited by our good friend - the outstanding British composer, teacher, humanitarian and iconic figure in the world of music therapy — Nigel Osborne.

This meeting was a real ray of sunshine on a gloomy rainy day: our space was filled with musical rhythms, drive, and improvisation. The therapy participants caught the wave of melody, playing a variety of instruments - from percussion to bass guitar.

The moment when one of our new participants tried to play the bass guitar for the first time - and was so carried away that, according to him, he completely forgot about the pain in his injured leg - was especially touching. This proves once again: music has an incredible healing power - both physical and emotional.

We are sincerely grateful to Nigel for the harmony of emotions, happiness and inspiration that he gave to our heroes. Special thanks to the Art Therapy Force project for its support and the opportunity to organize this extraordinary meeting.

DJ console for the Hab Ablation Space

Thanks to the initiative “The Rhythm of Peace”, a fundraising for a DJ console, which we organized together with our friend DJ Shantiago, we managed to make an incredible gift to the HAB Ablation Space.

Now this console will become part of our therapeutic DJ program, where anyone can discover their musical possibilities or even fulfill a long-standing dream. We will also use it during relaxation sessions for veterans and civilians who have experienced the consequences of war.

Thank you to everyone who joined this collection. Every beat is a step towards recovery
