This song is a tribute to all personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, offered in gratitude for their daily heroism by participants of the Victory Beats music therapy program, patients of the Superhumans Center, and the veteran band El Jefe.
The recording features Oleksandra Shchebilova, a State Emergency Service employee who lost her arm following a secondary strike during a rescue operation in Kharkiv. Upon beginning her treatment, Oleksandra immediately joined the music therapy program and expressed a desire to learn to play the guitar.
Despite her injury, just a few months later she was able to play "Everest"—an unofficial anthem of the Service originally by the band Okean Elzy. A cover version was subsequently recorded in a professional studio alongside other veterans, and an amateur music video was produced as a tribute to these heroes and a source of motivation for others injured due to Russian aggression.
