Victory Beats turns three!

Victory Beats turns three!

Victory Beats turns three!

From a simple yet sincere idea to a major project that now helps hundreds of people dealing with military-related trauma. Our third year was filled with unexpected events, shifts in plans, and a great deal of internal development. While some exciting plans had to be set aside, this paved the way for new, remarkable discoveries.

We opened a branch in Odesa, strengthened our team with wonderful new professionals, and welcomed our first ambassador— Yaktak. Our participants have shared countless unforgettable, positive stories and valuable experiences with us, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience alongside an unstoppable drive for creative self-expression. We hope that we, in turn, have been able to provide significant support in their rehabilitation process.

Our band has had quite a journey: appearing at Eurovision, performing on a major stage alongside Druga Rika, and meeting the incredible Ostap Drivko—as well as many other fantastic musicians and bands. We’ve collaborated on joint projects, released our own original songs, launched our first music video and debut album, and are currently working on new material. We also performed abroad for the first time, and our partnership with the Philharmonic has reached an entirely new level.

Another significant milestone has been the expansion of our work in the scientific and educational spheres. This year, we participated in a number of thematic conferences in Ukraine and abroad. This gave us the opportunity to highlight the importance of our project and connect with new partners. Furthermore, the European Jazz Network honored us with a special award for our contribution to fostering inclusivity in music. We also began collaborating with distinguished scholars and therapists, which has allowed us to further refine our approaches. Now, we are ready to share this knowledge more broadly: we are releasing a book featuring stories from our patients, along with the approaches and practical advice we use when working with individuals who have experienced military-related trauma. Thank you to everyone who has been with us throughout this journey—thank you for your support.
