About RoMZeS

Before the full-scale invasion, Roman was a sailor - a boatswain on a tugboat. In March 2022, he went to war as an infantryman. He lost both legs in battle. While undergoing rehabilitation, he ended up at Victory Beats music therapy, where, under the mentorship of Vlad Fisun, he was able to realize his long-standing dream - to learn to DJ.

Music has always been a strong passion for Roman, and DJing has given another unexpected and positive effect. "When I play, my phantom pain disappears," he says.

Currently, Roman continues to experiment with styles and find his own style of playing. And now he presents his first public set, compiled from classic hits from the 90s-2000s.

Maksym plays guitar for the first time after injury

Maksym lost his hand in the war, but he did not lose his will and desire for self-expression. After months of searching and developing a suitable mediator, along with initial attempts to play the guitar, we held our first full-fledged lesson.

It is a great honor to be with such a positive and determined person!

Ada on how drumming helps with rehabilitation

Ada lost a leg in the war and nearly lost the other, but doctors were able to save it. Thanks to Victory Beats music therapy at the Superhumans Center, she has been able to pursue her passion for drumming, which in turn has also helped with the rehabilitation of her leg. In this video, she shares her impressions, thoughts, and plans for the future.

Oleksandr Ivanko — The First

Oleksandr Ivanko is a veteran of the war in Ukraine. He always dreamed of trying his hand at DJing. One day, after relaxation therapy, he “for fun” moved the crossfader on the console from one stolon to another and everything went crazy… After that, courses with Vlad Fisunstarted, after some time, Sasha himself showed new participants the basics, then – b2b playing, playing on vinyl, and, finally, the first public set, which was played at a special retreat for veterans’ families in the Carpathians. Classic trance, full of waves of energy and comfort.

Congratulations to Oleksandr on his first release – there are still many more to come! And Victory Beats has a great achievement in its music collection! Enjoy

How music therapy restored mobility to Pavel's injured fingers

Pasha faced serious issues with his hand. Doctors said his fingers would never recover. But his unstoppable desire for self-realization, combined with a couple of months of guitar therapy at Victory Beats, proved that nothing is impossible. We are incredibly proud of Pavel!
